Part-time (8-12 hours/week) .  Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work evenings and weekends.  Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, move full bookcarts, and walk and stand for several hours at a time.  A positive, friendly attitude, attention to detail, good communication skills, and excellent alphabetizing and filing skills are essential.  High School diploma or equivalent or, if currently attending high school, must be at least 16 years old and be able to obtain a work permit.   Minimum wage.  Equal opportunity employer.

Part-time AmeriCorps Member

Guiding Ohio Online AmeriCorps members will be placed to perform training sessions, outreach, hands-on help, and other services.

Guiding Ohio Online will engage part time AmeriCorps members to serve between October 1, 2014-August 29, 2015.

Part time Guiding Ohio Online AmeriCorps members are expected to serve 900 hours during their 11-month term of service. All AmeriCorps member will be expected to attend a three day orientation before beginning duties at their assigned library and expected to attend regional in-person meetings. AmeriCorps places thousands of young adults into intensive service positions where they learn valuable work skills, earn money for education, and develop an appreciation for citizenship.
