I need to fax some papers. Does the library have a fax machine for public use?

Yes.  The main library has a self-service fax machine which accepts debit, credit, and check cards.  The first page is $1.50 and additional pages are $1.00 to U.S. destinations.

Does the library rent slide projectors or overhead projectors?

Can I register to vote at the library?

We do not offer this service at this time.

Do you have a copy machine and how much does it cost to make copies?
Yes, the main library and each branch library have copy machines. Copies cost 10 cents each.

Can I make 2-sided copies and color copies?
It is possible to make 2-sided copies but not color copies .

Do you have study rooms?
No, but we have areas where quiet study is available.

Does the Library have a scanner for public use?
Yes, the Main Library and Green Springs Branch have a scanners.  Please ask at the Reference Desk.

Can I burn CDs at the library or download to my iPod or MP3 player?
Library computers have limited downloading capabilities. If you bring your own device downloading is available on Wifi.

Does the library offer tutoring for the GED?

What about a tutoring program for children?

Does the library offer a literacy program for adults as well as a program to help someone learn English as a second language (ESOL)?

Does the library have computers with Internet access that I can use?

Does the library have a computer that I can use to type a paper, letter or resume?

How much does it cost to print from the computers?
Black and white copies are 10 cents for each page. Copies in color are 50 cents for each page.

Does the main library have a typewriter for the public to use?

Free wireless Internet access is available at the main library and all three branch libraries and no library card is necessary.

Do you have telephone books?
Yes, we have phone books for many cities in Ohio, but do not carry them for out of state locations.

Can you look up birth and death certificates? Wills?
Birchard Library doesn't carry these. They can be obtained through the Sandusky County Health Department, Sandusky County Probate Court, or through a search of the R. B. Hayes Presidential Center archives.
