Research

The main library offers a variety of materials and resources focusing on the history of Fremont and Sandusky County. Items include books, clippings, newspapers on microfilm, high school yearbooks, cemetery records, city and county directories and more. Our branch locations also have a limited number of Sandusky County histories and local files.

A cooperative project of four libraries in Sandusky County, Ohio, Sandusky County Scrapbook contains images and documents from the county’s history.
This is an electronic window onto the collections, programs, facilities, and services of the Ohio Historical Society.
