Resources for Teachers
Please inform us of your upcoming research-based assignments. With advance notice, we will be better prepared to assist your students. Please call us at 419-334-7101, ext. 209, or contact us at email@example.com.
We can provide lessons on research and library skills, or we can read a story to your class. We can also treat your students to a special behind-the-scenes tour of the library. Call the Youth Services Department to coordinate a visit at 419-334-7101, ext 209.
We would be happy to help you out with research projects that may have limited resources. We will hold materials for your class to use while in the library for your class reports or projects. Please call us at 419-334-7101, ext. 209, or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Teacher Loan Collections
The Youth Services librarians will select up to 50 books for a teacher to use in the classroom for specific subjects, holidays, or events. Hoping to celebrate a special holiday or learn more about something unique? Please call at least two weeks before pick-up to request a Teacher Loan Collection. These collections may be borrowed for six weeks, but the materials may not be renewed. Please note that videos for classroom use may be checked out for a 7-day loan period and may be reserved.
To enable us to verify our patrons' mailing addresses, we require that applications for library cards be filled out in the library and require a parent's or guardian's signature. We recommend that children retain their own cards between visits to the library so that they may use them when visiting on their own.
